Nifty Pharma surges in morning trade
Nifty Pharma index was the top gainer
among the sectoral indices on NSE during early hours of trade on
Thursday. The index traded higher by 1.12% at 9,424 level majorly
contributed by Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories.
On the index, there are 10 advances and 0 declines, indicating a bullish undertone. The index witnessed an intraday high of 9,431 level and intraday low of 9,363 level. The index witnessed a 30-day change of 11.32%.
Other stocks in the index viz. Divi’s Laboratories gained 2.35% at Rs 964.95 per share, Cipla gained 1.02% at Rs 575.50 per share, Glenmark Pharma gained 0.90% at Rs 615.70 per share and Aurobindo Pharma gained 0.77% at Rs 751.30 per share.
Meanwhile, BSE Sensex gained 31.24 points at 32,431 level after opening in the negative territory and Nifty 50 index gained 7 points at 10,148 level at 0940 hours on Thursday.
